We are a non-profit plant medicine center in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.
We welcome solo travellers and small groups of eight or fewer people for ayahuasca retreats and master plant dietas.
Whether you're taking your first steps with plant medicine or coming back to go deeper, we will guide you every step of the way. The core of our programs are built around the same tools – ceremonies, intermittent fasting, silence, sweat lodges, and distraction-free introspection. However, the length of time, choice of plants and location may vary from person to person. Learn more about our programs below.

We have no fixed schedule. Instead, we talk with you about what you're seeking and decide together when you want to come, how many ceremonies, and what length of stay is most suitable for you.
We are a small team by design. Two maestros and two apprentices.
You always know who you will be working with.
Richi and Julio are brothers. They grew up in a small village along the Ucayali river and began studying with their grandfather and other elders over 35 years ago. They have a genuine love for the plant medicines, their Shipibo lineage, and the opportunity to continue growing in their craft as they become grandfathers themselves.
Kajsa and Jonathan are married, most days. Kajsa grew up in Sweden and Jonathan in the United States, but Peru has been their home and classroom for the last ten years. They facilitate all ceremonies, retreats, and dietas and handle all guest intakes, retreat preparation, communications, and post-retreat integration.
We run our ayahuasca retreats and plant dietas from two locations, each within an hour of Tarapoto airport. Both sit in the rainforest, surrounded by tropical mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. The Tree House Center is commonly our go-to for groups and short stays, and our Bobinsana River House for individual travellers and longer immersions.
We'll help you choose the one that suits you best, based on the season, your group size, and your personal preference.
We are in the midst of exciting developments! We have taken the plunge and begun building a center in the deep jungle where Richi and Julio grew up, and on land that they own. This has been an incredible adventure already, and we'll be opening the doors for our work-study programs and dieta guests here in 2027.
